New hoist models carry heavier loads

RY series Electric wire rope hoists in this series from Harrington Hoists feature ultra-low-headroom trolleys and an H4 duty rating for high-volume handling of heavy loads. They are suited to moving injection molds, lifting containers of resin and a wide variety of manufacturing and warehousing tasks. For efficiency, the hoists can operate at 1.5 times their standard high speed when moving loads that weigh less than 25 percent of capacity.

What’s new? Models with 7.5-ton and 10-ton capacities; they join RY hoists with 3-ton and 5-ton capacities. The new models feature high-performance magnetic disc brakes that come with a five-year warranty and are more robust to support their heavier loads.
