PowerSeries Wittmann Battenfeld is upgrading its PowerSeries injection molding machine lines with a new controller, the latest in its Unilog series. Wittmann Battenfeld will begin selling its SmartPower, EcoPower, MicroPower and Macro- Power machines with the Unilog B8 controller in October, to coincide with K 2016. In the future, the company plans to provide the controllers with its VR vertical machines.
What's new? The controller, which features a larger, 21.5-inch monitor that can be used in split-screen mode and operated with the swipe of a finger.
