WHAT'S NEW? The introduction to the North American market. Plustech is the North American branch of Sodick's injection molding machinery division. The machine features a molding system that closes and clamps in a single motion coupled with a belt-driven table rotation. An electrically driven hybrid direct-pressure mold clamping system uses four tie bars to ensure excellent alignment and high rigidity. The machine also features Sodick's V-Line system that separates the plasticization and injection processes.
BENEFITS Short cycle times, and clamping forces that are applied uniformly. The two-stage plunger system allows for consistent measurement and injection, making it ideal for miniature or micro components. During the show, Sodick will feature a live demo of a direct gated two-cavity micro-bobbin application with a cycle time of 1.9 seconds.
