GaugePro Zumbach’s latest offline metrology device can measure the ovality, eccentricity, wall thickness, inside diameter and outside diameter of tubes. Two versions are available: The GaugePro 8 covers diameters ranging from 2.5mm to 8mm, while the GaugePro 22 measures samples with diameters of between 6.8mm and 22mm.
What’s new? Improvements to the user interface and a new touch-screen operating panel. Before being upgraded late last year, the system had a regular screen that could only be operated with a mouse.
Benefits Contactless measurement. Unlike other metrology devices, which apply pressure that can damage samples, the GaugePro can take readings without deforming the tubes it’s measuring. And, with the recent improvements, the system is now easier to use.
