Ren Xinting becomes managing director of KraussMaffei Extrusion

The leader of KraussMaffei China replaces Ralf Benack, effective Sept. 1.

Ren Xinting, managing director of KraussMaffei China, will add the role of managing director of KraussMaffei Extrusion as of Sept. 1.

He replaces Ralf Benack, who has led the extrusion division since 2024 and is stepping down at his own request.

Benack oversaw progress in customer focus, operational efficiency and technological advancement, including reduction in delivery times, expansion of the Technology Center in Laatzen and growth of the technology portfolio.

“Ralf Benack has led KraussMaffei Extrusion with great integrity, clarity, and personal commitment. He has been a strong advocate for the extrusion business, and has driven operational improvements as well as the company’s technological development. On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I would like to express my sincere thanks to him and wish him all the best for the future,” said Alex Li, CEO of the KraussMaffei Group.

Ren has led KraussMaffei China for three years, responsible for business across all technologies in the Chinese and wider Asian market.

“I am deeply honored by the Executive Board's trust as I step into this dual role. KraussMaffei Extrusion rests on an exceptional foundation — driven by pioneering technology, deep domain expertise, and a dedicated team. Fostering a seamless connection across our global operations enables us to serve our international customers with even greater agility and responsiveness,” Ren said.

Prior to joining KraussMaffei, Ren served as assistant GM at KraussMaffei Co. Ltd. (now Sinochem Equipment Technology Qingdao Co.) and held leadership positions in the chemical industry.

KraussMaffei provides injection moldingextrusionreaction process and additive manufacturing machinery, as well as smart factory solutions. Its North American headquarters is in Florence, Ky.
