Hamar Laser's L-703 is shorter, fits more easily in tight spaces than previous models.

Laser alignment systems Hamar Laser makes a range of laser alignment equipment that can ensure proper alignment of plastic machinery, including film lines, extruders and injection molding machines.

What’s new? The L-703 Bore & Spindle Alignment Laser, which is shorter than previous models and is easier to use in tight spaces. It can tackle the difficult task of aligning twin-barrel extruders when it is used with the L-703 Twin-Barrel Extruder Alignment System kit, which includes a series of adapters and accessories.

Benefits Adaptability. The L-703 can be mounted directly in a collet or the chuck of a spindle, as well as be used with adapters and accessories. Hamar will roll out additional kits later this year to make the L-703 laser compatible with applications including bore and spindle alignment and surface-plate calibration. Confirming proper alignment prevents barrel and screw wear that can require costly repairs.
