Maag Group, Oberglatt, Switzerland, has acquired French tool manufacturer AMN DPI. AMN develops and manufactures polymer pelletizing dies and die plates. The company also brings to Maag its expertise in biodegradable and highly filled recycled materials, as well as its knowledge of the plastics processing, extrusion and recycling industries.

Maag Group President Ueli Thürig spoke about the benefits the acquisition brings: “Toolmaking for granulators and systems can now be carried out completely in-house. This increases the availability and delivery reliability of Maag products, and production times are reduced.”

Maag Group produces pump, filtration, pelletizing, pulverizing and recycling systems under the Maag, Ettlinger, Gala, Scheer, Automatik and Reduction brands.
