CTS tube cutters Versa Machinery’s CTS line of tube cutters feed, measure and precisely cut corrugated tubes used in medical, automotive and other applications. The cutter’s high-speed electronic eye locates the end of each selected cuff, or flat portion in the corrugation that can be used to provide a secure connection between the tube and equipment. The cutter’s high-resolution encoder pinpoints the cut location, then its knife cuts at speeds up to 1,700 rpm. It can cut corrugated tubes up to 3 inches in diameter.

What’s new? The CTS line of tube cutters.

Benefits Highly accurate and repeatable cuts. The cutters’ encoder and high-speed knife work together to make possible cut-length tolerances of plus or minus 0.02 inches. The system’s high-speed cuff detection system and sophisticated programming overcome the challenges presented by corrugated tube. The cutter can also be used with smooth tubing and can be set to make two cuts per cuff, skip cuffs, or cut up to 16 unique parts of different lengths for packaging as a kit. In smooth tube mode, it can make up to 1,000 cuts per minute. CTS cutters have a 10-inch color touch screen and provide user-friendly setup and operation, with the ability to store up to 50 recipes. Optional compact card storage allows data to be backed up.
