Puller assemblies Versa Machinery’s new puller assemblies come in two styles — pinch roll and caterpillar. Used downstream in extrusion lines, the pullers operate at speeds up to 900 feet per minute and feature a hand wheel to adjust the gap between the belts. The P-series pinch-roll pullers are used for pulling materials that are not sensitive to pinching pressure and in operations where minimal pulling force is necessary. They are available with roller widths of 2 inches and 5.5 inches. The C-series caterpillar pullers provide uniform pulling force over the entire traction length, preventing product deformation. They have belts ranging from 2 inches wide by 9 inches long to 4 inches wide by 18 inches long.

What’s new? The product line, which became available within the last few months.

Benefits Versatility. With a wide variety of materials available for the belts and pinch wheels, the puller assemblies can be used in the manufacture of profiles, film, wire, cable, vinyl siding, 3-D printer filament and more.
