CBW Automation joins Mold & Robotics Group

    Mold & Robotics Group, Conthey, Switzerland, has announced plans to buy CBW Automation, Fort Collins, Colo.

    According to a press release from H. Müller Fabrique de Moules SA, a subsidiary of Mold & Robotics, the acquisition comes amid growing demand for technologies related to producing thin-wall packaging for food and non-food items. By bringing their fields of expertise together, the companies are better positioned to meet the need for superior product design, tooling and automation.

    "By joining Mold & Robotics Group, we will be part of a strong international group to reinforce our technological leadership," CBW Automation President Dave Carson said.
