Extruder manufacturer Davis-Standard, Pawcatuck, Conn., has made a number of personnel changes.
Danis Roy has joined the company as VP of sales, cast film and coating systems. Roy, based in the company's Fulton, N.Y., facility, will spearhead initiatives in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He most recently served as GM at polyester film manufacturer Terphane Inc., and has 30 years of experience in marketing, management and sales.
The company named Gerry Sposato senior sales engineer for the sheet and foam group. Sposato will be responsible for sales of new capital equipment in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, Ohio and Toronto.
Michael Jones was appointed regional sales manager for blown film products, with responsibility for providing aftermarket support to customers in the Southeast. Jones has more than 18 years of film processing experience, most recently as plant manager at Anchor Packaging Inc.
