Mike Brown has been appointed VP of operations – GTA (Greater Toronto Area) for Davis-Standard’s Canadian businesses. He will be responsible for the business operating plan, strategy and performance initiatives for the company’s Toronto-based subsidiaries, Brampton Engineering, Deacro Industries and Gamma Machinery.
“Mike joins Davis-Standard with over 25 years of progressive experience in engineering, product management and global operating roles with equipment and processing companies,” said COO Dan Guthrie in a statement.
Brown was operations manager for injection and extrusion operations at Gillette/Procter & Gamble. He has also worked at Edwards Vacuum, Avox Systems, Milacron and Quality Metalcraft.
