Sidel is celebrating the sale of its 1,000th EvoBlow machine, which will be installed this year as part of a high-speed PET line at StrongPack, one of Nigeria’s biggest co-packers of non-alcoholic beverages.
The new line, which is capable of producing 86,000 bottles per hour, will be the fastest in Africa, according to Sidel. It marks StrongPack’s entry into the still-water co-packing market.
Sidel, which supplies blow molding and packaging equipment and services, is based in Parma, Italy.
