Leak-detection system has small footprint

ALPS Inspection's FlexPitch Duo uses dual heads to test containers from 3 milliliters to 1.75 liters in size.

FlexPitch Duo ALPS Inspection manufactures a range of in-line leak-detection systems. Its FlexPitch Duo system was built to meet the speed requirements of production lines churning out small blow molded containers. Containers that fail the leak test are ejected through a reject chute. Its HMI has a full-color touch screen and guided setup tools and makes it easy for users to monitor parameter changes, pressure curves and all other aspects of the leak-testing process.

What’s new? Dual independent test heads, which take up less space while increasing throughput.

Benefits Flexibility. The FlexPitch Duo can accommodate containers ranging from 3 milliliters up to 1.75 liters in size. It has a small footprint and is easy to install around an existing conveyor line without disassembling the conveyor. It requires only 3 feet of free conveyor space for installation, and is easily transported from line to line, as needed. ALPS offers 24-hour service support for its equipment.
