Bekum to hold open house, honor Martin Stark

Bekum America Corp. announced it will hold an open house on Sept. 30 that will include a facility tour and machine demo at its Williamston, Mich., location. The Hyblow 607D hybrid electric and Hyblow 607 single-sided extrusion blow molding machines will be on display.

Scheduled events include a ribbon cutting to mark the addition of a 40,000-square-foot expansion, a keynote speaker and a pause to honor Chairman Martin Stark as he prepares to retire.

Stark, who is a member of the Plastics Hall of Fame with a plastics career that has spanned 50 years, joined Bekum in 1981.
