U Series Takumi USA's new U series of five-axis machining centers features trunnion-style, two-axis tables and Heidenhain TNC 640 controls. The U600 is a double-column machining center, and the U800 is a high-speed gantry machining center. They have a simultaneous machining feature that employs the "lead" and "lean" tool path strategies.

What's new? The U series, which is Takumi's first offering with full five-axis simultaneous milling capabilities. It will be available in the U.S. for the first time this month at IMTS 2018.
