Yizumi-HPM Corp., a unit of the Yizumi Group, plans to begin expansion of its 22,000-square-foot technical center in Iberia, Ohio, this fall. The expansion will add 15,000 square feet and new capabilities to the facility, primarily to accommodate the company's growth in large-tonnage injection molding and die casting machines.
The addition of a 75-ton crane will allow for the use of larger injection molding machines for customer trials and mold demonstrations, officials said. Interest in the company's DP-N two-platen injection series machines has been extremely strong. The facility will be able to accommodate more customer training and machine development, as well as sales, manufacturing and administrative services.
Construction is scheduled to begin early next year.
