New die head heated from inside, outside

Evolution Ultra Die Reifenhäuser has developed a new type of die head for barrier blown film production.

What's new? The design. The flow channels of the Evolution Ultra Die are much shorter than those of standard dies. Also, the compact die head is heated from the inside and outside. Reifenhäuser introduced the technology at K 2016, with worldwide availability beginning immediately after the show.

Benefits Flexibility, fast heating and product changeovers. By combining the advantages of stack dies and spiral-mandrel dies, the die can accommodate a variety of viscosities and is capable of producing films with as many as 15 layers, including extremely thin outer layers.
