Ultra Flat Plus Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik, Troisdorf, Germany, has introduced a new film haul-off system with an integral stretching unit that is an optional feature for the company's blown film lines and also can be retrofitted to any blown film line.

What's new? The unit, which fills a gap between the company's Ultra Flat product, with stretching ratios of 0.1 to 5 percent, and its Ultra Stretch, which has a stretching ratio of up to about 600 percent. Ultra Flat Plus has a stretching ratio between 0.1 and 100 percent. Reifenhäuser launched the product at the K show.
