4824LF Formech’s large-format vacuum forming system improves upon the long-running 1372 model and redesigns it for a 48-inch by 24-inch sheet, which is the standard size in the U.S. Other upgrades include advanced quartz heating elements with independent zone control to ensure uniform heat distribution across complex tool geometries and challenging materials; an upgraded PLC control system that stores multi-user recipe presets, enabling faster changeovers and reduced setup times; enhanced vacuum power that ensures accurate detail definition when working with thick-gauge materials or high-depth tools; and reduced power consumption during batch production. It is appropriate for industrial plastic fabrication, packaging prototyping, automotive trim and point-of-sale display manufacturing.
What’s new? The 4824LF, debuting at Pack Expo in October.
Benefits Sheet sizing tailored for the North American market, which eliminates trimming and waste and streamlines pre-production preparation, as well as better heating control and improved throughput.
