Using a unique oscillating movement to prevent pellets from bouncing, Trendelkamp's Masterbatch Classifier series of pellet classifiers can efficiently classify a variety of sizes and shapes.

Masterbatch Classifier Using a unique oscillating movement to prevent pellets from bouncing, Trendelkamp's series of pellet classifiers can efficiently classify a variety of sizes and shapes. The classifiers feature a wide channel that allows pellets to cool. Models can sort oversized pellets from right-sized pellets, or sort right-sized pellets from oversized pellets and fines. They feature adjustable-speed drives and can be used by compounders. All contact parts are made of stainless steel, and stainless-steel covers and operator panels are optional. Standard screen diameters range from 2mm to 8mm.

What's new? The launch of a new machine within Trendelkamp's TK-K series, for masterbatch production. The classifier, which made its debut at NPE2018, has an hourly throughput range of about 770 pounds to 11,000 pounds.

Benefits Smooth, even material disbursement; safe, simple operation; and easy maintenance. The easy-to-clean TK-K units feature a quick-release screen that can be replaced without tools, so changeovers for different colors or materials are easy.
