InfraStake IS32 Module Extol's new plastic staking module is used to join plastic components together by heating a molded boss or stud, softening it and forming it into a stake. Designed for use with automotive door panels and interior trim, it provides integral clamping and even heating to produce tight, strong stakes. The module also is suited for assembly of electronic and automotive lighting products

What's new? The module, its InfraStake Integration software and improvements over earlier products. The IS32 has better reflective-surface geometries that more efficiently focus the infrared energy on the plastic boss. It has an integrated linear potentiometer that precisely measures the boss height both before and after staking.

Benefits High-quality joining and a low lifetime cost of ownership. The new software monitors the entire process for quality assurance. With energy-efficient operation and a low-maintenance design, the module has a lower lifetime cost than prior products. Also, even inexperienced users can establish a new recipe or optimize an existing one with the new Processing Assistant function in the InfraStake Integration software.
