Feeder can handle irregular fibers

FiberXpert Feeder Brabender Technologie Inc.'s gravimetric metering feeder can handle both long and irregular fibers without allowing them to intertwine or knot — problems that stirring agitators and vibration won't improve. This enables precise dispensing of natural fibers, wood fibers, carbon fibers and film shreds.

What's new? The combination of a special fiber screw, a steep-walled hopper and special geometry and position of the stirring agitator.

Benefits Cost-effective recycling of materials such as carbon fiber panel and film chips or shredded film strips. The loss-in-weight feeder has a maximum feed rate of about 883 cubic feet per hour.
