Single sheet die boasts multiple features

DuraFlex Dual Manifold Extrusion Die Allied Dies will display its die for the custom sheet market that can produce high-quality sheet for thermoforming that is up to 78 inches wide and 10mm thick. The die's cap manifold allows coextrusion of a thin, UV-protective polymer over the base layer. The sheet it produces has a Class-A finish and is used to match painted surfaces in industrial and automotive applications.

Benefits Its RapidGap system on both upper and lower lips provides a single-point adjustment to the lip gap for precise control of machine direction orientation. The die also allows sheet width adjustments to be made without stopping the line. The die has features to make cleaning and maintenance easier.
