Larson's forklift light is durable, has long working life
Forklift LED warning light This explosion-proof LED light produces 2,250 lumens of blue light to warn workers that a forklift is in use nearby. Operating on universal 9-60V DC power, the 25-watt light features five light-emitting diodes (LED) of 450 lumens each to produce a narrow, 5-degree spot beam that is visible in both light and dark conditions. An adjustable surface mount allows the forklift operator to control the direction of the beam.
What's new? The light, which debuted in February.
Benefits Efficiency, durability and reduced environmental impact. The light has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours (after which it can still retain 70 percent of the lumen output), can save up to 50 percent on energy usage compared with other types of lights and is waterproof. It contains no lead or mercury. Additionally, the warning light can improve working conditions by eliminating the need for audible alarms, such as backup alarms, that may irritate workers. Frequent use of audible alarms can result in workers ignoring them, leading to unsafe conditions.
