Latest LumaSense camera boasts greater resolution

MCL640 LumaSense Technologies' newest thermal imaging camera was designed specifically for industrial process control and monitoring. It uses 640 by 480 resolution imaging for long-wave infrared applications and can be paired with a telephoto lens to extend its operating range. The unit also offers temperature measurement that is accurate to within 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

What's new? The camera, which was introduced in December.

Benefits Greater resolution and durability. The MCL640's resolution is four times greater than the model it replaces, and is available with a number of different enclosures, including a vortex-cooled, heavy-duty housing with an air purge for use in hazardous environments.
