Varicon and Unicon Sesotec's metal detectors are used in the food and packaging industries to sort out all metals. The Varicon can handle load capacities of up to about 66 pounds, while the Unicon (shown) is bigger, with capacities of up to about 287 pounds.
What's new? A coil, called the Intuity, that's now available as an option. Metal detectors equipped with the Intuity coil also have new software and user interfaces.
Benefits Greater detection rates. The Intuity is the most sensitive metal-detection coil in Sesotec's portfolio, making it appropriate for applications that require purity, such as the production of film for pharmaceutical packaging.
