Illinois Instruments' new combination testing unit package can perform both oxygen- and water-vapor-transmission rate analyses.

DualPerm Illinois Instruments' new combination testing unit package can perform both oxygen- and water-vapor-transmission rate analyses. It comes with two separate permeation analyzers that can share both a nitrogen supply and computer interface. Analyzers in the package, which is ideal for testing films, packages and bottles, can handle samples with a temperature range from 41 degrees to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and a relative humidity range of 20 percent to 90 percent.

What's new? The combination of the oxygen- and water-vapor-transmission testing units, along with software, into one package.

Benefits Cost savings and convenience. The combination of the units reduces space and set-up requirements. Also, both units can be linked to one nitrogen source and computer interface, reducing equipment and floor-space needs.
