Fipa's new nonrotating internal-spring suspensions can be used to compensate for height differences and ensure consistent, even movement of vacuum cups.

GR03 Fipa's new series of nonrotating internal-spring suspensions can be used to compensate for height differences and ensure consistent, even movement of vacuum cups used in a range of applications, including part handling outside an injection molding machine. The anodized aluminum suspensions are strong and light, and compatible with an array of vacuum-cup connections. They are available with either a smooth, clampable body or a threaded body to facilitate flexible integration into existing end-of-arm-tooling systems. The clampable suspensions are available in diameters of 10, 14 and 20mm and six stroke lengths spanning 10–50mm. Threaded suspensions are available in diameters of M5, G1/8, G1/4 and G3/8  and 10 stroke lengths spanning 10mm to 80mm.

What's new? The suspensions, which Fipa announced in December.

Benefits Gentle placement of vacuum cups on workpieces. The suspensions are a cost-effective alternative to additional fittings. Designed for rugged performance, they are resistant to dirt and strong forces.
