AS series hoists Harrington Hoists has introduced a line of air-powered hoists that is ATEX-certified for spark-resistance. Stainless steel components that reduce or eliminate the risk of sparks from impact or friction include the load chain, top and bottom hooks, hook latches and other hardware. The AS series hoists are available in 500-pound and 1,000-pound capacities and have three control options. Standard features include a heavy-duty disc brake, vane motor, planetary gear system and a lightweight, compact, cast-aluminum body.
