MDSG 1000/600 BR Hellweg's new granulator has been designed for single-stage shredding and granulation of pipe, sheet and solid start-up blocks. The 23.6-inch rotor features 12 blades and has a working width of about 40 inches. Depending on the material, throughputs range from about 1,700 pounds per hour to a maximum of more than 6,600 pounds per hour.

What's new? The system, which debuted at the K show.

Benefits Efficient size reduction. In one stage, the granulator can turn start-up lumps, pipe and sheet with thicknesses up to 19.7 inches into granulate. Its design allows it to operate quietly and energy efficiently.
