Entek stuffer/feeder unit provides easy access

QC3 Vacuum Stuffer/Side Feeder Combination Unit Made especially for Entek's QC3 co-rotating twin-screw extruders, this new unit is designed to further the line's quick-change, quick-clean and quality-control capabilities.

What's new? The unit, which is standard on Entek's QC-43mm extruders and is available as a retrofit on lines made by both Entek and other suppliers.

Benefits Flexibility and easy access for quick changes. Designed to save floor space, the unit can be mounted to the top deck of an extruder. Relevant features include bolts that can be removed with a built-in air ratchet, an easily maneuverable arm and a design that allows the combination unit to be used either as a vacuum stuffer or side feeder. The unit is easy to clean, too, since the stuffer barrel can remain mounted to the extruder while the rest of the unit is serviced.
