Sefortek debuts welding unit

Model 2729 ultrasonic welder This new machine from Sefortek is capable of welding ABS, glass-filled PP and thermoplastic olefins. Operated via a 10-inch touch screen, it features 14 welding horns and can be modified to accommodate parts of various sizes. Safety features include a light curtain and an interlock switch that prevents machine operation if the door is open. 

What's new? The machine, a new type of product for Sefortek, which supplies custom automation and tooling for the plastics industry. 

Benefits The ability to weld parts with paint or aluminum chrome without damaging the finish.
