This melt flow indexer from Dynisco delivers a wide range of polymer data, including shear stress, shear rate, apparent viscosity, intrinsic viscosity and melt density.

LMI5000 This melt flow indexer from Dynisco delivers a wide range of polymer data, including shear stress, shear rate, apparent viscosity, intrinsic viscosity and melt density. It features a color touch screen, USB communications and digital encoder.

What's new? The automatic sample cutter. The Autocutter feature yields more accurate sample sizes than the traditional manual method. The new model replaces Dynisco's LMI4000 melt flow indexer.

Benefits Accuracy and safety. The Autocutter eliminates the delay between the programmed cut time and the actual cut time, improving the accuracy of the measurement. Because an operator no longer needs to use a palette knife to remove samples, potential human exposure to molten plastic and the hot die is minimized. Also, when the cutter door is open, the cutting function is disabled for worker safety.
