High-speed dispersers Charles Ross & Son has updated its high-speed dispersers for use in hazardous environments where flammable vapors, liquids, solids or dusts are present. Suitable for many industries, the mixers are commonly used in the plastics industry for dispersing fillers and additives into liquid resin and also can be used to break up agglomerates and to produce fine dispersions. The dispersers are available in a range of sizes, for making batches as small as 1 gallon to more than 5,000 gallons. They come in floor-mounted and tank-mounted versions.

What's new? The explosion-proof operator panel with special grounding provisions. The mixers also have explosion- proof limit switches for locking out the motor if the blade is in a raised position or a mixing vessel is not in place.

Benefits Safe operation in hazardous environments.
