Mokon has redesigned its Duratherm Max line of water temperature-control systems.

Duratherm Max Mokon has redesigned its Duratherm Max line of water temperature-control systems. The systems feature a fan-cooled heat exchanger for dependable cooling of the process fluid and the elimination of thermal shock, flashing to steam and mineral buildup. Standard features include a microprocessor-based controller that provides indication of both the process fluid set point and actual temperature to ensure process control accuracy. Also standard are: suction and discharge pressure gauges; an air-cooled heat exchanger for rapid cooling; and a solenoid cooling valve. The unit delivers water as hot as 380 degrees Fahrenheit at pressures up to 300 pounds per square inch.

What's new? The design, which features increased ventilation of the mechanical compartment and relocated air discharge.

Benefits Worker comfort, easier maintenance and overall improved performance. The top discharge of air directs waste heat away from workers, while the new design offers easier access to components for maintenance.
