RMX Series Process Control has upgraded its RMX Series refeed machine, a component of its Automatic Scrap Recycling System for scrap generated by film extrusion lines. The double-compartment RMX Series feeds a consistent column of compacted ground scrap surrounded by virgin material into the extruder.
What's new? The operator panel. The Pro-face brand human-machine interface (HMI) features digital and analog I/O, Modbus communications protocol and Ethernet.
Benefits Easier operation. The HMI provides full control and configuration of the drive system, without in-panel adjustments. The operator can monitor roll feeder and refeed status from a single screen. Minimal drive setup is required, with most parameters set onscreen. Less freqently used options are easily hidden for streamlined operation.
