Thermal Care debuts portable chiller at NPE

NQV Series  Thermal Care calls these portable chillers, which use newly developed variable speed compressor technology, an industry first.

What's new?  Introduced at NPE, the chiller changes capacity to match its load without using hot gas bypass or running the compressor at full amperage; therefore, energy consumption matches actual energy demand for part-load, rather than full-load, operation, without compressor cycling. The NQV features a 7-inch color touch screen and PLC with control and operating screens, as well as troubleshooting and maintenance help screens.

Benefits  Energy savings, along with tight temperature control due to precise speed control of the variable frequency drive and an electronic expansion valve.
