Material Vision Proofing This machine vision system from Conair ensures that material routing decisions set at the control are made correctly, to prevent material contamination due to operator error.
What's new? A wireless scanning industrial camera verifies that source-to-destination connections match routing choices made in the conveying control. The moving vision system works with the loading control to visually identify ring codes on the tubing stubs, correlating each tube connection to a matching port. A 4-inch HMI displays all connections made.
Benefits An incorrect connection inhibits material flow and signals an alarm and a press of a button shows where the connection should go. MVP is added to Conair's resin selection stations and interfaces through an Ethernet connection to Conair's FLX-128 or ELS loading/conveying controls.
