    PlastX temperature controller/indicator: This line of temperature controllers from West Control Solutions is targeted at twin- and single-screw extruders. Available in 1/16 DIN and 1/8 DIN sizes, it provides options for heat and heat/cool control and has a function for set-point ramping, which protects against heater burnout. Distributed in the U.S. by Accurate Temperature Control, PlastX units also can be used simply as process indicators. Universal input, multiple output configurations and process and loop alarms are all standard features on both models.
