KraussMaffei APC function neutralizes fluctuations

Adaptive Process Control  This machine function developed by KraussMaffei automatically adjusts the injection molding changeover point and holding pressure profile in each cycle when fluctuations occur in process or production. KM demonstrated its APC system at Fakuma.

What's new?  Online corrective intervention ability, during any cycle. Via APC, the user can respond to fluctuations (like batch variations) as early as the injection process.

Benefits  Fewer production/process fluctuations with fewer to zero defects, and faster startups. KraussMaffei will include the APC function on all of its electric, hybrid and hydraulic injection molding machines.
