Eriez-Europe promotes new managing director

Eriez announced that it has promoted Gareth Meese to serve as the managing director of Eriez-Europe. In this role, Meese will be responsible for driving the growth of Eriez-Europe while ensuring it aligns with the organization’s worldwide corporate strategies.  

Meese began his career with Eriez as an export sales engineer at the company's operations in Cardiff, Wales. He progressed to other roles, serving most recently as Eriez’ regional sales director to lead strategic sales efforts for Europe, the Middle East, India and northern Africa.  

According to Eric Nelson, VP for international operations and business development, Meese will take on many new challenges as managing director of Eriez-Europe. “Gareth will focus on critical initiatives related to people development, process improvements, technology advancements and the continued advancement of Eriez as a global solutions provider,” he said.  

With its global headquarters in Erie, Pa., Eriez designs, manufactures and markets magnetic separation, flotation, metal detection and materials-handling technologies.
