Tomra Recycling Sorting celebrated the opening of its second test facility for conducting material trials at its headquarters in Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany, where it had a three-day event as part of its Integrator’s Conference hosting industry partners, customers and media representatives.
Growing demand for material trials led the company to open its new 10,764-square-foot facility, which allows customers to test waste and metal sorting applications at the same location.
“With more stringent legislation and higher recycling targets, the demand to recover recyclables from waste is at a record high and so is the demand for our sorting solutions and material tests,” said Fabrizio Radice, Tomra’s VP and head of global sales and marketing.
