Machinex marked its 50th anniversary with a virtual open house. The manufacturer of recycling sorting systems headquartered in Plessisville, Quebec, saw employees at its branches take part in the event from their respective offices in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K.
The event began with an overview and highlights of the company’s 50-year history, followed by virtual tours of manufacturing facilities, then sessions that focused on critical pieces of Machinex equipment. Winnipeg-based GFL also offered a guided tour of its materials-recovery facility and the state-of-the-art Machinex sorting system it has installed.
To cap the virtual event, Machinex showed off its new Technology Hub building, where it will showcase its latest technologies, such as optics and robots.
