    Erema Zero Waste Pro 1

This story appeared in the Winter 2020 edition of Plastics Recycling.

ZeroWastePro Targeted at manufacturers of PE and PP film, Erema’s new portfolio of in-house recycling systems, which includes three series and numerous machines, includes equipment that feeds and filters scrap and transforms it into pellets. The three series — the Intarema K ZeroWastePro, Intarema T ZeroWastePro and Intarema TE ZeroWastePro — handle LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE; the T- and TE-series machines also can take on PP. Each series includes multiple models; hourly throughputs range from 22 pounds to excess of 882 pounds, depending on the model and material.

What’s new? The machines, which hit the market at the K show last fall.

Benefits The ability to feed as much as 100 percent of film waste back into the production process, and ease of use. According to Erema, the highly automated, energy-efficient machines can be delivered quickly following purchase. They are compact and can be easily installed and integrated into production lines.
