Sensors add protection around cranes

They can be installed on new Globeius cranes or retrofitted.

Sensor packages Globeius configures these packages to individual applications to help crane operators detect obstacles and hazards as they travel through a plant. They include proximity sensors in all directions that can prevent the crane from hitting objects, and infrared sensors that can detect humans approaching the crane and trigger the vehicle to stop. Sensors can be installed in different locations to detect obstacles at varying levels and angles relative to the crane. Light beams are available to warn personnel of an approaching vehicle. Sensors can be switched on or off to accommodate particular applications.
