Max AI enhances MachineMetrics MES
MachineMetrics Intelligent MES This manufacturing execution system (MES) offers automated downtime tracking, OEE analytics, work order management and scheduling intelligence; with the data it tracks, plant leaders can gain insights into their operations.
What’s new? The addition of artificial intelligence (AI) features called Max AI, which connects real-time data from machines, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and the in-house knowledge of experienced personnel. The Max AI capabilities are integrated into the base MES, and MachineMetrics continues to roll out new features. So far, Max AI extends the AI already integrated in the MES by adding a conversational interface for operators and supervisors; contributing new functions that perform specific tasks, such as scheduling; serving as a repository for skilled and experienced workers’ knowledge; and proposing and executing strategies to address problems. Its greatest benefits are most apparent in data-rich environments, such as when it’s integrated with CNC machines and machining centers and operations with ERP integration.
Benefits Easy deployment, and, with available insights, better, faster decisions. With Max AI, users can track every process, connect all their machines and data, and provide more help to their operators. Insights possible through Max Ai can drive continuous improvement, on-time deliveries, machine uptime and growth. For plastic parts makers, Max AI can document standard operating protocols (SOPs) and use them to resolve issues; communicate information from one operator to the next at shift handoff; identify when cycle times drift from anticipated targets; and dynamically track and assign machine capacity.
