Sacmi adds AI-powered digital assistant

Gilda-AI allows operators to easily interact with their vision systems.

Vision systems Sacmi's vision systems can be used by blow molders and injection molders in the beverage, plastic capsule, closure, container and PET preform sectors, among others. The company also provides technologies to inspect labels.

What’s new? Availability of an optional digital assistant based on generative artificial intelligence (AI) called Gilda-AI for new devices and machines equipped with Sacmi’s CVs vision system.

Benefits The ability of operators to easily interact with their vision systems, to troubleshoot problems, improve product quality, and optimize production processes. According to Sacmi, Gilda-AI speaks the natural language of operators. The technology, available in multiple languages, can access data from other Sacmi CVs applications, such as CVs23, CVsWEB, and Classy-AI, to provide more comprehensive answers. In the event of a machine malfunction or process drift, operators can simply “ask Gilda” to obtain prompt, customized AI-powered answers to their queries.
