PCS 60 Cold Jet’s automation-ready dry-ice blasting machine has a patented Particle Control System that lets users select among 28 pellet sizes from 0.3mm to 3mm. Its 7-inch LCD screen has digital controls and an intuitive HMI display that makes it easy for operators to view and control blasting parameters and machine settings. It also is IoT-enabled, and works with Cold Jet’s Connect Industry 4.0 subscription service, with multiple tiers that can provide remote monitoring and assistance and machine documentation, and record and report cleaning analytics times and cleaning costs. Operators also can access to training videos, operator manuals, and service and support.
What’s new? Enhancements and accessories that let the PCS 60 be operated in rugged environments. The updated blaster made its debut at NPE2024.
Benefits Full-spectrum cleaning that can be adjusted to match any substrate or geometry. Cold Jet says the PCS 60 can meet the needs of everything from aggressive contaminant removal to gentle, precise dry-ice blasting that can remove the “m” from an M&M candy or the lettering from a business card. Operators can use the HMI to adjust (and store in memory) particle size for particular jobs.
