P7000 Pillar Technologies’ new power supply delivers reliable, accurate and versatile power to the company’s surface-treatment equipment. It uses integrated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) technology to provide instant, consistent and efficient power. IGBTs are used in industrial, high-current applications because the technology can drive high-power applications with a relatively low-power input.
What’s new? The new P7000 power supply, which features a proprietary control circuit design. The P7000 power supply can be used with Pillar Technologies’ corona treaters, including the company’s Split Box Blown Film Station, which treats blown film for ink adhesion or lamination, and Universal Surface Treaters, which offer flexible designs, allowing for a variety of speed and power requirements for both blown film and extruded film applications.
Benefits Accurate power delivery despite changing conditions. This system has a specially designed power measurement circuit that guarantees that the power specified is the power being delivered, and the feedback circuit automatically maintains constant output power regardless of minor changes in load conditions, humidity and temperature.
